EXAMPLE OF GROUTING GEAR LAYOUT

This is the foundation of an earth-core dam. The grout curtain is located on the centre line in a trench, and has a single row of holes.

The grout is mixed, stored and pumped by the machinery at the back of the photo. The circulation line, made of hoses, carries the grout to the hole. Fittings controlling the flow of grout down the hole are in the foreground. Surplus grout returns to the agitator through the return part of the circulation line.
